About Me

I've told many stories over the years ...

As a sportswriter, I covered the history-making Joe Montana-led 49ers. As editor of an IT magazine, I reported on the challenges data center managers faced when the Internet blasted onto the scene in the early 1990s. Then, I moved to the financial industry as managing editor for a financial publication. There, I found myself talking subscribers off the ledge when the dot.com bubble burst and trillions of dollars evaporated in the bear market.

Today, I continue to reinvent myself as a financial journalist, and I've got my work cut out for me.  AI is quite challenging on many fronts.  I've written tons of articles about the technology and investments, so I'm well-versed on that. And while I won't use AI to communicate with readers/clients, I definitely use it as a tool to make processes more efficient.

Readers deserve to hear from real people, not a fake version that writes poorly and has no clue how to talk to and not at them.
